Joe Biden has been in American politics longer than most people on the internet have been alive. He was the president, he is a career politician, and he is still a name that moves the news even after leaving office.
My view: Biden is the guy the internet can never agree on. Half the feed thinks he was a steady hand, the other half thinks he was past his best. The truth is probably that both things can be true. He had the experience, he passed big bills, and he also clearly aged in front of the cameras in ways that made people uncomfortable. I try not to reduce anyone to a highlight reel. The memory of his presidency will keep getting argued about for years, and that is exactly what politics is now: a fight over the story, not just the facts. I will keep an eye on what he does next and let the results do the talking.
